Gravenhurst makes procedural changes for council meetings
Three changes have been approved for the proceedings of meetings in Gravenhurst, by the Town Council in the August 9th meeting.
Meeting start times will change from 5pm to 3pm, to allow for more flexibility with time.
Also, three readings will be reduced to one reading, following the current approach across the province.
And deputations will now be limited to five, instead of six, with the flexibility to add more as needed, based on requests.
The changes will take effect November 15th, with the new term of Council.
The draft will be reviewed again in September for any final changes as needed.
