14 Year-old And Parent Face Charges After Dirt Bike Crash
The Huntsville OPP has charged a 14 year-old and their parent following a dirt bike crash in Huntsville.
Police say that on July 25th, around 4 p.m., the dirt bike crashed on Domtar Road. The young rider, who had minor injuries, was taken to the hospital before police arrived.
The 14 year-old faces multiple charges, including careless driving, driving without insurance, and operating an off-road vehicle on a highway without a permit.
The parent is charged with allowing a minor and unlicensed person to drive and permitting the vehicle to be uninsured. Both are set to appear in Ontario Court of Justice in Bracebridge at a later date.
