Burk's Falls man wins $100,000
A Burk’s Falls man is $100,000 richer after winning playing an INSTANT GIFT PACK.
66-year-old Kenneth Turner says he’s an occasional lottery player.
“I buy tickets when I have some extra change in my pocket. I treated myself to the INSTANT GIFT PACK,” he said while at the OLG Prize Centre in Toronto to pick up his winnings.
When Turner brought his ticket to the store, he watched the clerk’s eyes widen. “I was so excited I couldn’t sleep for about five days – I just couldn’t believe it was true.”
Ken says he hasn’t really thought about what to do with the money, he might buy a new vehicle.
“It’s such an unbelievable experience,” he says.
The winning ticket was purchased at Burk’s Falls Kwik Way on Ontario Street.
