Hope Arises welcomes public to ribbon skirt workshop on Thursday

Hope Arises is inviting the public to a workshop to commemorate National Ribbon Skirt Day on Thursday at Partners Hall in Huntsville.
The public is welcome to come and see ribbon skirts being created between 11 am and 2pm, learning about the history, meaning and technique in making ribbon skirts.
Joyce Crone, the president of the organization says the day is made possible by Hope Arises, two local retired teachers, and a Pay it Forward Grant.
