Hunters Bay Radio donates $5K to Mind-Aid, an organization helping youth find mental health supports
Recently, Hunters Bay Radio made a $5000 donation to an organization in Muskoka called Mind-Aid. Their mandate is to help young people (under 30) navigate the world of mental health support, which is surprizingly hard to find and get treatment in a timely fashion.
Our first (of many) donation, will be used by the organization to help fast track clients to get the help that they need.
If you, or someone you care about, is struggling mentally, they may be able assist you in getting the help needed. It is not always clear where to start when you are embarking on a journey to mental wellness. The mental health care system is confusing and hard to navigate and that is why MiND-AID was created. They are here simply to help, and for free.
