MAHC resumes walk in service for X-rays
MAHC has reintroduced walk-in-only service for outpatient general X-ray services, aiming to enhance accessibility and flexibility for patients and referring healthcare providers alike. The MAHC says patients MACMPatients requiring X-rays must obtain a referral and requisition from a healthcare provider, such as a doctor or nurse practitioner.
Walk-in visits do not require prior booking, allowing patients referred for an X-ray to arrive at any of MAHC's three X-ray locations without an appointment.
Cheryl Harrison, President and CEO of MAHC says the change empowers patients to take charge of their healthcare more efficiently.
Walk-in X-ray services are available Monday to Friday from 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. at both the Huntsville and Bracebridge sites and on Mondays, Tuesdays, and Thursdays in Burk's Falls.
