TLDSB holds Student Voice Summits
Trillium Lakelands District School Board recently continued its Director’s Student Voice Summits in April, with two sessions held at Muskoka Education Centre and I.E. Weldon Secondary School (IEWSS).
A total of 85 students from Grades 7-10 participated, sharing insights on enhancing learning experiences for current and future students.
Led by the secondary curriculum team and supported by the G7 Student Senate, activities included discussions on preparing students for success, improving well-being, and enhancing attendance.
TLDSB Director of Education Wes Hahn emphasized the importance of collecting authentic student input, aligning with the board's strategic plan.
The School Board says the participants provided valuable feedback, fostering connections among students from different schools.
