Huntsville Festival of the Arts will feature David Suzuki and Tara Cullis in a hybrid theatre and film performance celebrating love and environmental advocacy on March 5 at the Algonquin Theatre.
The Huntsville Festival of the Arts will present What You Won’t Do For Love, a unique live-theatre and film performance featuring renowned environmentalists Dr. David Suzuki and Dr. Tara Cullis, on March 5, 2026, at the Algonquin Theatre.
The production, presented by Why Not Theatre, offers an intimate exploration of Suzuki and Cullis’s 50-year partnership and their shared dedication to environmental advocacy. Using storytelling, humour, and reflection, the performance asks whether we can love the planet as deeply as we love one another.
Directed by Why Not Theatre founder Ravi Jain, with co-direction and dramaturgy by Kevin Matthew Wong, the show highlights how love can inspire action and collective responsibility toward a sustainable future.
A post-show Q&A will allow the audience to engage directly with Suzuki and Cullis, while signed copies of Suzuki’s books will be available for purchase.
“It’s incredible to have Canadian icon David Suzuki join us live,” said Dan Watson, Artistic Director of the festival. “At 90, this is a once-in-a-lifetime chance to celebrate his life and environmental legacy.”
Tickets are available at huntsvillefestival.ca or by calling 705-789-4975.
