The Town of Huntsville is excited to welcome the community to a full day of Canada Day celebrations on July 1 at Muskoka Heritage Place and River Mill Park.

Join Mayor Alcock and Council at Muskoka Heritage Place for Canada Day festivities starting at 10:00 a.m. with speeches, free cupcakes, and a strawberry social, followed by a day of live music, games, demonstrations, and family activities until 4:00 p.m. Visitors can enjoy fresh treats, Lions Club food (cash only), and free giveaways while supplies last. The Portage Flyer Steam Train will offer rides beginning at 11:30 a.m., and militia demonstrations will take place throughout the day. Admission is free with a non-perishable food donation.
Music, Games, and Live Entertainment at River Mill Park: 12:00 p.m. - 7:00 p.m.
Browse local vendors, enjoy games and activities for all ages, and soak in the festive atmosphere all afternoon long. This event is sponsored by Lake of Bays Brewing Company, and delivered in close partnership with the Huntsville/Lake of Bays Chamber of Commerce and the Downtown Huntsville BIA, ensuring a vibrant and engaging day for residents and visitors alike.

12:00 p.m. – Welcome and Land Acknowledgement
1:00 p.m. – Performance by Cam Galloway
3:30 p.m. – Performance by Gina Horswood
5:00 p.m. – Feature Performance by Cory Marks
7:00 p.m. - Event Ends at River Mill Park
7:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m - Town Dock Park - Concert on the Dock presents HTC Canadian Cabaret
10:00 p.m. - Fireworks Over Hunters Bay- Weather and fire ban status permitting
