The District says filing can help ensure residents get the benefits they are entitled to
Residents across Muskoka can get free help filing their 2026 income taxes through the Community Volunteer Income Tax Program.
The District of Muskoka says the clinics, run with the CRA and local volunteers, help people claim benefits like the Ontario Child Benefit, GST credits, and Old Age Security. In 2025, volunteers processed nearly 2,900 returns.
Appointments are available in-person through March and April, with virtual options on a waitlist. Details and booking are online at muskoka.on.ca/incometaxclinics
