Election day is October 26th and deadline to declare is August 21st
Residents across the region will head to the polls this fall as part of Ontario’s municipal elections.
Voting day is set for October 26th, with ballots cast online in Huntsville, or by phone, giving residents the flexibility to vote from anywhere.
Officials say it’s important to make sure voter information is up to date through Elections Ontario or the Municipal Property Assessment Corporation.
Candidate nominations open May 1st and run through August 21st, while voting will take place between October 14th and 26th.
More information is available through your municipality as residents prepare to choose who will be on their next council.
