OPP in Huntsville have made an arrest following a daytime assault in the community.
Officers say they were called to the area of Main Street West and Kitchen Road South late Thursday morning after reports of an assault in progress.
Police say a woman was attacked by a man not known to her. The suspect was located and taken into custody at the scene.
36-year-old Thomas Fletcher is now facing multiple charges, including assault and failing to comply with a probation order.
He remains in custody and is scheduled to appear in court in Bracebridge.
