The investment in the Huntsville plant will add 10 jobs and protect 100 more
Huntsville MPP Graydon Smith says a new $10 million provincial investment in Daiken North America is a big win for the local economy.
The funding will help the Huntsville manufacturer upgrade its production line and launch a new type of wood panel product—the first of its kind in the world.
Smith says the project shows how Ontario’s forest sector can innovate, create jobs, and compete globally while supporting sustainable growth.
The $70 million expansion will create 10 new jobs, protect more than 100 others, and strengthen the local forestry supply chain.
