Heroes on the Air Comes to Huntsville

Created to mark the 100th anniversary of the Royal Canadian Air Force, Heroes on the Air is a powerful theatrical experience that blends live radio drama, music, storytelling, and live Foley sound effects into an unforgettable tribute to Canada's aviation heroes.

Hosted by two-time JUNO Award nominee Jason Wilson, five versatile performers bring more than 30 real-life RCAF heroes to life through dynamic character portrayals, immersive soundscapes, and original music. The live Foley artistry—creating sound effects in real time before the audience's eyes—adds a unique and captivating dimension, transporting audiences into the heart of each remarkable story.

Written by Sara Moyle and inspired by the Canadian bestselling book Pathway to the Stars, Heroes on the Air celebrates the courage, sacrifice, and enduring spirit of the men and women who have served in the Royal Canadian Air Force. Whether you're a history enthusiast or simply love exceptional storytelling, this moving production offers an inspiring evening of theatre that honours Canada's rich aviation legacy.

Originally presented with the support of the RCAF Foundation, Heroes on the Air commemorates a century of service through stories that continue to inspire generations.
