Learn To Sing Group Classes

These classes are perfect for beginners, those looking to improve their skills, or anyone looking to try something new for the first time and gain a little confidence. There is no pressure to sing if you don't feel comfortable in a group environment you are welcome to learn by observing and through the course handouts.

Topics will include.
-- Body and face stretches specific to voice use.
-- Proper breathing and myths about it.
-- Vocal Warmups.
-- Vocal Health, Care, and Maintenance.
-- How hormones effect the voice.
-- Pitch Training.
-- Analyzing popular singers on the radio and tv.
-- Nervous System Regulation.
-- Performance Anxiety.
-- Song work and practice time with personalized feedback from the instructor.

Please note that even though this is a group class you will be working on techniques to develop your own voice. Both group and individual activities will occur. It is not a choir.

Starting October 15th on Thursdays at 1:30pm to 2:30pm or 5pm to 6pm.

-- Amber Johnson teaches private lessons, group classes, and vocal health workshops to local businesses. She has ten years of performing experience at shows and festivals in Canada and the UK, seven years of professional/ private training (Body Mechanics Of the Voice and Safeguarding Teaching Practices certified from The Voice College and Rockschool UK.)., and has been teaching full-time since 2021.
