What stories are hidden in your favourite recipes? Join acclaimed chef and bestselling author Christine Flynn from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. for a day exploring the cookbook as memoir. Through stories, discussion, culinary demonstrations, and food-focused conversation, Christine will examine how food can preserve memories, connect generations, and tell the story of a life.

Come ready to write, refine and share your own food stories through thoughtful prompts, real-world advice for getting words on the page, and advice from one of Canada's most beloved cookbook authors. Get a behind-the-scenes look at recipe development and food storytelling. Whether you're interested in preserving family recipes, documenting your own traditions, or creating a cookbook of your own, you'll leave inspired to capture the memories, meals, and moments that matter most. No previous writing experience is necessary. Christine will prepare a family-style lunch inspired by recipes from her books, and soft drinks will be supplied.

All recipes and workshop materials will be provided. Participants are welcome to bring a notebook or device for personal note-taking if desired.
