The building was a total loss.
Fire crews from Bala, Glen Orchard, Foots Bay, and Torrance responded to a structure fire on Moon River Road near Bala just before 6 p.m. on September 29.
When firefighters arrived, the building was fully involved, and there were reports two dogs might be inside. Everyone escaped and were reported safe.
Crews brought the fire under control in about 20 minutes using foam, and 2 dogs were found unharmed and returned to their owner. No injuries were reported, and no one was displaced.
