The finalists will compete for a $5K and $10K prize
The Muskoka Founders Circle has named the five finalists for this year’s Founders Den Pitch Contest, taking place October 22 at the Gravenhurst Opera House & Arts Centre.
Selected from a strong and diverse applicant pool, the 2025 finalists are:
- AssetPool (assetpool.com): A digital inspection and asset management platform providing real-time dashboards and customizable checklists to improve compliance, safety, and efficiency.
- Bracebridge Bark House (bracebridgebarkhouse.com): A new premium dog daycare and pet services centre offering enrichment programs, grooming, and retail.
- Madeline Hockley Weddings & Events (madelinehockley.com): A boutique planning company creating timeless, editorially inspired weddings and events across Muskoka.
- Screamy’s Ice Cream (screamysicecream.com): A mobile scoop shop serving handcrafted ice cream, with plans to expand into permanent locations and youth employment.
- Well Fed Inc. (wellfedeatery.com): A quick-serve eatery specializing in wholesome sandwiches and frozen meals, making healthy food accessible for busy families.
At the live pitch, finalists will compete for a $10,000 first prize and $5,000 second prize, along with mentoring, loan prequalification, and business support connections.
“The talent and drive of Muskoka’s entrepreneurs is remarkable,” said the Founders Circle. “We’re proud to showcase these businesses that reflect the spirit of innovation in our community.”
Since 2018, the Muskoka Founders Circle has awarded more than $100,000 to local entrepreneurs through its annual pitch contest, mentorship, and direct support.
