The money will be used to help with post secondary school expenses
Four local students are heading off to college or university this fall with a financial boost from the South and Central Almaguin Education Fund.
The fund, created in 2017, helps remove financial barriers for students in the region who may not otherwise have the chance to pursue post-secondary education. This year, each student received $5,000 — for a total of $20,000 in support.
