The Great Pumpkin Trail and a Pumpkin Plunge will keep the kids entertained
Huntsville’s favourite Halloween tradition is back. The Great Pumpkin Trail returns to Muskoka Heritage Place for its 37th year on Halloween night from 5 to 7:30 p.m.
Families can enjoy a safe, traffic-free trick-or-treat experience through the decorated pioneer village. Autism Ontario will host a sensory-friendly half-hour before the main event begins.
Local businesses are transforming the heritage buildings with spooky—but not too scary—decorations, with Mayor Nancy Alcock set to judge the best display.
Admission is $10 per family or $3 per person, and costumes are encouraged. The event runs rain, shine, or even snow.

Meanwhile, The Town of Bracebridge is hosting the Pumpkin Plunge at the Bracebridge Sportsplex on Saturday, October 25.
From 12:30 to 4:30 p.m., kids can take part in crafts, indoor climbing, and a festive swim with pumpkins.
After the plunge, families can decorate and take home a pumpkin.
The event is free, drop-in and for more details, visit bracebridge.ca.
