The municpality is proposing at 5.56% increase
The Township of Lake of Bays will present its Draft 2026 Budget and Business Plan to Council on November 11th.
The plan maintains service levels while addressing new community needs and introduces a new model linking spending to Council’s priorities.
Highlights include community space upgrades, an independent fire service, environmental programs, and technology improvements. The draft proposes a 5.56% tax levy increase, with major projects funded through reserves, grants, and new revenues.
