The new additions will be illuminated during Nuit Blanche North
This Saturday, Huntsville is set to unveil a new addition to Kent Park.
As part of Nuit Blanche North, four new animal sculptures by artist Bryan Faubert will be illuminated at 9:30 p.m. These flame and cold-forged steel pieces depict a bear, a wolf, a deer, and a loon – all animals native to the Muskoka region.
Mayor Nancy Alcock says the modern art reflects Huntsville's identity as a vibrant arts community.
This project, a collaboration of several local organizations, was heavily influenced by community input, aiming to enhance downtown and create a unique sense of place.
