The incident occurred at a gas station in Bracebridge
Police have laid charges after a dangerous incident at a gas station in Gravenhurst.
OPP say three people pushed a black vehicle up to a pump at a fuel station on Muskoka Road South earlier this month. As gasoline was being dispensed into the vehicle, one person allegedly tried to ignite the fuel and succeeded, sparking a significant fire.
Investigators say a quick-thinking station attendant shut off the pump and used a fire extinguisher to put the flames out.
Eighteen-year-old Isaiah Bradbury-Chapman of Huntsville is charged with mischief and common nuisance endangering life. He’s due in court in Bracebridge in May.
