Police warn that the weather will be changing to ice and snow in the coming weeks
The Huntsville OPP are urging drivers to get ready for winter as forecasts point to a quick shift to snow and icy conditions in the coming weeks.
Police are reminding motorists to winterize their vehicles, install snow tires, and pack an emergency kit with essentials like food, blankets, and a phone charger. Drivers should also clear snow from windows and rooftops, check lights regularly, and slow down when roads get slippery.
Police add it’s illegal to pass a working snowplow.
