Environment Canada warns of possible tornado activity
Environment Canada is warning of dangerous thunderstorms this afternoon and evening in Huntsville and the Almaguin Highlands.
Environment Canada says these storms are capable of producing severe wind gusts up to 110 kilometers per hour, heavy downpours, and an isolated tornado is possible.
They warn residents to be prepared for potential utility outages and significant damage to property.
If threatening weather approaches, take immediate shelter in a basement or interior room, and secure loose objects.
