Kyle "The Monster" Nelson will be taking on Matt Frevola in UFC Fight Night 262
Huntsville’s own Kyle “The Monster” Nelson is set to return to the lightweight division this Saturday at UFC Fight Night 262 from Vancouver, where he’ll face New Yorker Matt Frevola in the main card opener. The 34-year-old UFC veteran last competed at featherweight and is moving back up to 155 pounds for the first time since 2022.
Nelson made his UFC debut in 2018 and has since built a reputation for exciting fights, including wins over Blake Bilder, Fernando Padilla, and Bill Algeo. He’s looking to build on recent victories and bounce back from a controversial loss against Steve Garcia.
Frevola, meanwhile, is hoping to reset after two straight defeats. With both fighters eager to make a statement, fans can expect a fast-paced, action-packed matchup. Huntsville supporters will be cheering Nelson on as he looks to continue his climb in the highly competitive lightweight division.
