The exhibit runs through to October 21st
A new community art exhibition in Huntsville is inviting people to look at food in a different way.
“Food for Thought” opens October 7 at The Table Art Gallery and Hub on Cann Street, featuring work from local artists exploring food, nourishment, culture, tradition and community.
The exhibition also looks at food insecurity and the fact that not everyone has reliable access to nutritious food.
An opening reception runs October 7 from 5 to 8 p.m., with the exhibition continuing through October 21.
The Table is also marking 20 years of its community Thanksgiving dinner. This year’s dinner is October 12 from 5 to 6:30 p.m. at Trinity United Church.
