Las Vegas is about to host Canada’s greatest progressive rock export on a scale never before attempted
Iconic rock trio Rush has announced an exclusive five-date residency titled Elevate From The Norm at Sphere Las Vegas, scheduled for May 21, 23, 26, 28, and 30 in 2027. Tailored specifically for the venue's immersive 16K display plane and advanced spatial sound, the run promises to unite the band’s signature complex musicianship with unprecedented visual storytelling.
Following their Fifty Something reunion tour, co-founders Geddy Lee and Alex Lifeson are returning to the stage accompanied by drummer Anika Nilles and keyboardist Loren Gold. The residency honors the lasting creative legacy of late drum virtuoso and lyricist Neil Peart while taking advantage of visual tech that feels tailor-made for progressive rock epics.
The setlist for the Las Vegas dates will draw heavily from two of their cornerstone studio achievements, performing the albums 2112 and Moving Pictures in their entirety alongside a rotation of back-catalog gems.
The extended journey of the twenty-minute title epic from 2112 will serve as a primary visual piece during the show, mapping its dystopian narrative across the vast screen space. The group will also lean into the tight arrangement and famous synthesizer sweeps of Tom Sawyer, offering an ideal test for the room’s high-definition acoustics. The set will also feature the high-energy drive of The Spirit of Radio, bringing its blend of hard rock riffs, reggae-influenced bridges, and broadcasting themes to the residency.
Tickets for the event are set to rollout shortly. VIP and travel packages open on Friday, November 6 at 12:00 PM PT, while the artist presale begins Wednesday, November 11 at 10:00 AM PT. Fans can register for presale access directly through the official website.
