Rock n Roots
Rock ‘n Roots explores the powerful lineage of classic rock, tracing its DNA back to its musical parents: the raw, soulful blues and the storytelling traditions of folk. These genres didn't just exist alongside rock; they provided the foundation for every iconic riff and anthem we know today.
Coming along for the ride are the musical cousins—the acoustic honesty of folk music—and the "black sheep" of the musical family: the infectious, rhythm-heavy groove of funk. Together, they form a rich, high-energy tapestry of sound that bridges generations.
Whether it’s a delta blues legend, a psychedelic rock masterpiece, or a deep-pocket funk classic, Rock ‘n Roots connects the dots of music history, proving that while the branches may spread far, the roots always run deep.

Constance joined Hunters Bay Radio in early 2025, where what began as a surprise opportunity quickly grew into a genuine passion and strong appreciation for the art of radio.
Currently a high school student in the area, she has a deep love for the arts, especially writing, drawing, and music. Her musical tastes lean toward rock and alternative, matching her creative and curious personality. Outside the studio, she enjoys skiing, snowmobiling, gaming, and reading, proudly embracing her self-proclaimed “mega nerd” status.
When she’s not on the air or working on creative projects, she enjoys spending time with friends, her dogs, and watching an egregious amount of films. She continues to build her skills and enthusiasm at Hunters Bay Radio and is excited to see where her growing love of radio will take her next.
