The run is expected to top over $50,000 for cancer research
The Terry Fox Run in Huntsville brought out about 120 participants this year, with organizer Sharon Stahls praising the community for stepping up despite tough economic times.
Steve Ainger says people are realizing cancer research is making a real difference in lives, and the committee is humbled by the support.
In Huntsville the run raised over $48,000 and is expected to go higher.
Hunters Bay Radio raised over $18,000 including matching funds from the station.
