Three projects in Wasauksing First Nation are receiving more than $1.2 million in provincial funding through the Northern Ontario Heritage Fund Corporation.
Parry Sound-Muskoka MPP Graydon Smith says the funding includes more than $848,000 to expand Wasauksing Maple Products, $200,000 to replace the community playground, and nearly $168,000 for Migizi Gardens to install an indoor growing system that will provide year-round fresh produce and improve local food security.
