The youth left the roadway on Doe Lake Rd and was arrested
A 13-year-old from Brampton is facing several charges after a police pursuit in Gravenhurst early Tuesday morning.
Bracebridge OPP say officers were alerted by Peel Regional Police after the youth allegedly took a parent’s vehicle and drove north toward Muskoka.
Police located the vehicle in Gravenhurst, but investigators say the driver fled when officers attempted a traffic stop. The vehicle later left the roadway on Doe Lake Road, where the youth was arrested without injury.
The accused faces charges including dangerous driving, flight from police, stunt driving and taking a vehicle without consent.
