The driver was airlifted to Sudbury
Emergency crews were called to Grass Lake Road in Kearney around 7 p.m. Saturday after an ATV collided with a pickup truck. Kearney Fire and Emergency Services, Parry Sound Ambulance, and Almaguin Highlands OPP responded to the scene.
The two riders on the ATV were in critical condition and required urgent medical attention. The driver was airlifted to Sudbury by Ornge, while the female passenger was pronounced dead at the scene. Police say neither rider was wearing a helmet, and the investigation is ongoing.
