The Terry Fox Run took place in Huntsville yesterday, with The Bay helping raise nearly $18,000 for cancer research by matching donations to the team.
People across Huntsville, Bracebridge and Gravenhurst took part in the annual event.
The run is part of a national campaign that has now raised more than one billion dollars for cancer research since Terry Fox began his Marathon of Hope in 1980.
The annual run continues his legacy and supports ongoing cancer research across Canada.
