The operator was charged with operating in a dangerous manner and assault
A Bracebridge man is facing charges after an investigation into a dangerous incident involving a personal watercraft in Huntsville.
The Ontario Provincial Police say 23-year-old Owen Pare has been charged with dangerous operation and assault following a June 13th incident on the Big East River. Police say a Sea-Doo was being operated in a dangerous manner, resulting in minor injuries.
Pare is scheduled to appear in court in Bracebridge on August 4th. OPP say the case serves as a reminder that unsafe operation on local waterways can put both users and the public at risk, as officers continue patrols across Muskoka’s lakes and rivers.
