The driver was driving erratically near children who were trick or treating
Halloween night turned dangerous for trick-or-treaters in Gravenhurst — and now a Bracebridge man is facing multiple impaired driving charges.
Police say around 7:45 Friday night, officers were called after a concerned resident reported erratic driving near John and Peter Streets, as children were out collecting candy. OPP located the vehicle minutes later on Muskoka Road South and conducted a traffic stop in a nearby retail parking lot.
A 31-year-old Bracebridge man has been charged with Impaired Operation, Over 80, Dangerous Driving, Stunt Driving, being a Novice Driver with a BAC Above Zero, and Failing to Comply with Probation.
He’ll appear in court at a later date.
