The Gravenhurst driver will answer to the charges in court
A Gravenhurst man is facing multiple charges after allegedly driving erratically and crashing into vehicles and guardrails on Highway 11 last Friday.
Police say they received a report of a black pickup swerving dangerously around 5:20 p.m. north of Orillia. The driver became combative with officers when stopped but was eventually arrested.
Gilles Deraiche, 28, is charged with impaired driving, dangerous operation, failing to stop for police, and more.
