It's part of District wide Earth Day activities
Huntsville residents looking to refresh their gardens are being invited to a free compost giveaway during Earth Week. The District of Muskoka will distribute high-quality compost from its green bin program on Wednesday, April 22 at Conroy Park on Forbes Hill Drive, running on a first-come, first-served basis.
Residents are encouraged to bring their own containers and scoop up compost for home use, with supplies available while they last. Officials say the event is part of broader Earth Week activities aimed at cleaning up the community after a long winter and wet spring, with several volunteer cleanup locations scheduled across Huntsville this week.
