Residents are invited to submit comments by November 9th
The District of Muskoka will hold a Committee of the Whole meeting on November 10th to reaffirm its 2026 tax and rate-supported budgets, including user fees.
The session will take place in Council Chambers at the District Office and residents are encouraged to submit written comments by 4 p.m. the day before.
The budgets, developed alongside Muskoka’s six lower-tier municipalities, cover services such as road maintenance, waste management, community programs, long-term care, and paramedic services.
Public input collected through the Muskoka in Focus survey will help guide council decisions, with results shared on November 17th.
The final 2026 budgets are set for formal approval on December 15th.
