Over $66,000 has been awarded to community groups across the region
The District of Muskoka is funding a range of local community projects aimed at supporting residents and strengthening social programs across the region.
The District of Muskoka says about $66,000 has been awarded through its 2026 Community Grant Program, supporting 20 initiatives under two funding streams.
Smaller grants focus on volunteerism and community engagement, while larger funding supports projects tied to food security, housing, poverty reduction, and job training.
Officials say the goal is to improve community well-being and support Muskoka’s most vulnerable residents through local initiatives.
