The public is invited to Enviro Hub Day
Muskoka residents and businesses are being called to become Climate Heroes as the District rolls out a new program to support sustainability and slash carbon emissions.
The initiative offers a series of actions — from planting pollinator gardens to properly recycling e-waste — all designed to help meet the region’s targets of a 50% emissions cut by 2030 and net zero by 2050.
Participants can earn Bronze, Silver, and Gold status by completing tasks and documenting their efforts. A celebration for all 2025 participants is planned, and the public is invited to learn more at Enviro Hub Day on May 31st in Port Carling.
