The District says the new initiatives will allow for clearer rules and faster builds
The District of Muskoka is highlighting recent improvements to make building housing easier while keeping communities unique.
In the October edition of the Chair’s Spotlight on Housing series, District Chair Jeff Lehman points to updates like PlanHub, faster review timelines, delegated approvals, and stronger public engagement. These changes aim to give builders clearer rules and residents greater transparency.
Resources include a two-minute spotlight video, an infographic summarizing planning improvements, and the PlanHub portal for tracking planning applications online.
