The driver was located after police ended a pursuit
A 19-year-old Bracebridge man is facing several charges after allegedly fleeing from police in Muskoka Lakes Township.
The OPP says an officer spotted a vehicle being driven dangerously on Muskoka Road 118 near Pine Glen Road Friday evening and attempted a traffic stop.
Police say the driver sped away, prompting the officer to end the pursuit for public safety.
The vehicle was located a short time later in Port Carling, where 19-year-old Carlson Rogers was arrested. He faces charges including dangerous operation, flight from a peace officer and stunt driving. He's scheduled to appear in Bracebridge court on August 25.
