The town is receiving $150,000 through the FIFA World Cup 2026 Impact Program to upgrade Randy Gostick Park
Bracebridge is getting a boost for local sports infrastructure through funding tied to the FIFA World Cup 2026™ Impact Program.
The town will receive $150,000 to help upgrade field lighting at Randy Gostick Park, home to the Bracebridge Soccer Club.
The project will replace the site’s aging 2004 lighting system with modern LED fixtures, improving visibility for users while cutting energy use and long-term operating costs.
Officials say the work had been planned in the town’s long-term capital budget, but the funding will allow it to proceed sooner.
