Final list of Huntsville candidates for the upcoming municipal election

There are races all across the municipality

The Town of Huntsville has released its list of candidates for the 2026 municipal election, with the nomination deadline passing today at 2 p.m. The list is still described as uncertified by the Town.

Four people are running for mayor: Dan Armour, Dan Caswell, Rebecca Mello and Scott Morrison.

Five candidates are seeking the three District and Town Councillor seats: James Bowler, Leland Maw, Brian Ellas, Peggy Peterson, Helena Renwick and Bob Stone.

In Huntsville/Chaffey Ward, six candidates are competing for two seats, while three candidates are running in Stisted, Stephenson & Port Sydney.

Three candidates are seeking the single seat in Brunel Ward

There are also candidates for the various school board trustee positions. Voting runs from October 14th through October 26th, with election day October 26th. (huntsville.ca)
