The town has begun the first step, considering a by-law amendment
The future of the former Georgian College campus in Bracebridge could be one step closer to becoming a health and wellness hub for Muskoka.
A zoning by-law amendment application will be considered by the Town's Planning and Development Committee on July 8.
The proposal, submitted by the Muskoka Health and Wellness Centre, would transform the former campus into a community health facility offering primary care, clinical offices and other wellness services.
Town officials stress no approvals have been granted and several municipal and regulatory steps remain before any redevelopment can move forward.
