The town says cameras are in place at municipal properties
The Town of Gravenhurst is reminding residents that surveillance cameras are operating at municipal properties throughout the community to help deter crime and support police investigations.
Cameras are installed at locations including the municipal office, library, Muskoka Wharf, parks, fire stations, and other public facilities. Town officials say footage has helped the OPP identify suspects in several investigations.
The Town also encourages residents and businesses with security cameras to join the CAMSafe program, which allows police to request video footage during criminal investigations.
