The Huntsville-based group will share stories, films, and creative activities with students to promote healing, and understanding
A Huntsville-based team from Hope Arises is heading to Chapleau this week for a special educational and cultural initiative focused on truth, reconciliation, and healing.
The group will work with students at Chapleau Elementary and Secondary School, present The Emily Redbreast Story and the documentary Red Girl Rising, and facilitate discussions and creative activities.
Organizers hope the project will strengthen relationships between Indigenous and non-Indigenous communities while fostering understanding, empathy, and respect.
