Students can use the experience as volunteer time for community involvement
Hospice Huntsville is looking for volunteers to help raise money for local end-of-life care through Sandhill Nursery’s annual Fall Festival.
Volunteers are needed at the entrance gate for three-and-a-half-hour shifts, now through October 25.
High school students can also count their volunteer time toward community involvement hours, while service clubs, organizations and businesses are encouraged to bring a team.
There’s no long-term commitment required, with volunteers able to choose individual shifts that fit their schedule.
Hospice Huntsville is aiming to raise enough money to cover more than one month of care.
