A longtime Hospice Huntsville staff member has been recognized with one of Ontario’s top volunteer awards.
Jane Weiland, who retired in 2024, received the 2025 June Callwood Outstanding Achievement Award for Voluntarism.
She was honoured for her 11 years leading Hospice Huntsville’s visiting volunteer and grief programs, as well as introducing complementary therapies.
The award, presented by MPP Graydon Smith, celebrates individuals who make significant contributions to their communities.
